May 24. Charleston, SC. to Southport, NC.

Last night, Frank, one of Marks friends flew into Charleston. And this morning Brett left…We miss you already. Hugs and Kisses...

We left Charleston, SC (St mi 465) to Southport (St mi 310) at 9 am.

We runned 155 miles in the ICW for 12 hours.

Very long way but beautiful, lots of trees and fresh air.

Mark doesn't like to run at night in an unknown place so we peeled eyes the last hour. Frank on the bow and Ximena on the electronics.

There were a lot of spots that we had to slow down big time because of our wake. We pulled Up at “South Harbour Village Marina” at Southport, NC. at 9 pm. Then hose down the salt. Fueled up 314 gallons at 2.64 dollars a gallon: That’s exactly what we burned today!. We pulled up with half a tank. Ordered pizza delivered to the boat. And then everybody crushed!
